Q. Are there any costs associated with registering with Newton Services?

A. No, registration and job placement services are free for our applicants.

Q. What are the advantages to working on a temporary basis?

A. There are several:

  • The ability to increase connections in your professional network
  • The ability to enhance your skill sets, or keep them current
  • The ability to work in a variety of professional settings

Q.  How does the job placement process work?   

A.  Your job placement journey begins when you create an account and fill out our online application. Once your application is received and reviewed a Newton Services recruiter will contact you if your application is a match for any open positions. Once identified as a potential candidate, you may be asked to log back into the site to provide additional information. We will verify your references and you may be asked to complete a skills assessment and position fit analysis. Once it’s decided you meet all of our criteria you will be introduced to prospective clients for consideration.  Some clients will require drug and/or background screens prior to starting your assignment.

Q. What should I bring to my first appointment with Newton Services? 

A. Please bring copies of your resume, at least three employment references (with phone numbers and/or email addresses), and two forms of identification. Also, make sure you are professionally dressed for your meeting with our staff.

Q. When will I receive my first placement?

A. The needs of our clients, along with your marketability, skills, and availability will determine the amount of time required to place you. Some new employees are offered assignments immediately.

Q. Does Newton Services offer benefits and perks to its associates?

A. Yes. We offer one of the most comprehensive benefit and incentive programs available in our industry.

Q:  Does Newton Services continue to provide support after I start a job?

A:  We do. Because we want you to be successful and happy in your new position, we touch base with you frequently. If your temporary placement is coming to an end we contact you to determine your availability for a new position.  Our training services continue to be available to you as long as you are working with us a placement client.
